Our Philosophy
The meaning behind
“Mui”
The name “Mui” is derived from a philosophical concept “Mui Shizen” (無為自然) which roosted in one of Eastern thoughts.
This is the idea that things, in human life, naturally move in the direction they are meant to go by being natural state without unnecessary desires.
At Mui, we express the innate beauty of flowers and nature with grateful respect by minimizing artificial processing as much as possible.
Through expressions that simply exist naturally and quietly, yet are powerful, we hope to be something that resonates deeply in your heart.

Japanese Karesansui
Mui’s logo is designed to reflect the serene beauty of Japanese Karesansui — gardens that suggest the presence of water without actually using it.
Water is essential to all living creatures and is often regarded as a symbol of flexibility, as it adapts to any shape while nourishing everything without conflict.
Mui’s logo embodies this concept, representing our desire to bring vitality and life to each unique individual, while also revealing both visible and invisible beauty.
