This collaboration between Paper & Tea and Mui brings together the shared philosophy of mindful living.
By uniting tea and Ikebana—two Japanese traditions—we invite you to slow down, connect with nature, and discover beauty in simple, meaningful moments.

At this time, you will enjoy creating an Ikebana arrangement with seasonal materials that bring a touch of fresh summer.

・14:00–14:10 – Introduction
・14:10–14:30 – Ikebana Demonstration by Mui

• A selection of Japanese Matcha & Hojicha, as well as other tea varieties from PAPER & TEA
-Tea tasting (valued at €30) is included, and drinks are served freely throughout the session.
• All flowers for the Ikebana workshop
-You can take your flowers home as a small bouquet afterwards.
• All materials (scissors and kenzan provided during the workshop)

*Ikebana tools such as Japanese ceramic vessels and kenzan are not included in the price. If you would like to purchase them, you can add them, or feel free to ask Mui during the session.

Ikebana workshop

Experience Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging.
In Ikebana, each stem is placed with intention to highlight the natural beauty and harmony of life. This workshop offers a gentle introduction guided by a Japanese florist from Mui, a floral studio in Amsterdam.

Tea Tasting

During the workshop, you will also explore a fascinating variety of Japanese teas, including matcha and hojicha, at PAPER & TEA.

Their knowledgeable staff will guide you through a selection from their collection, allowing you to enjoy freshly prepared tea while creating your Ikebana arrangement.
